What I liked
-I liked that I was able to learn so much about the nursing field and gain experience to propel me in my future nursing career.
-I worked with a lot of knowledgable people who are part of the health care team.
-I loved that I was able to get school work and studying done ( on night shift).
What I wish was different
-I wish that it was better staffed.
-I wish that there was more scheduling flexibility for students .
Advice
-Learn how to manage your time properly and ask for help if you are feeling overwhelmed or are unsure about something.
-Make connections early on with people in every department, it comes in handy later.
-Your attitude and outlook shapes your entire shift so try to be positive and optimistic.
