I worked my way from the Congressman’s Syracuse, NY office this summer and was accepted to work in his DC office where I am now.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more work to do, Congress is out of session alot in DC at the moment.
Advice
Get involved with the smallest governemnt officials in your community early on in the summer and by the end you will accumulate contacts of more and more important people so you can achieve higher opportunities!
