Literally, keep up! Stay in touch as much as possible. Show your interest and do all the little things people tell you to to be remembered. Keep up with HR, make a lasting impression, let the firm know you and see your face, send thank you cards, leave a gift if possible. Do all you can to show that you do care and are passionate about the work. You work for what you truly care about. If it’s not for you, appreciate what purpose it served in your life and seek to make allies out of the people you met! They’re great mentors and accomplished in many ways. Give them the respect they deserve. Just appreciate the opportunity and make it work for you! This a great firm and it is an honor to work with them.
