Structured internship program at a top tier Private Equity firm focused on enterprise software investing. A lot of access to more senior members of the firm - large open door policy. Weekly training and exposure to live deals processes. Open office culture, great location, phenomenal people and experience.
What I wish was different
More clarity on the status of a return offer.

Take initiative. Ask questions. Be inquisitive. Have an opinion when you send anyone any piece of work.

What I liked
I really liked the program as a sophmore because the program was stuctured and you were able to learn something every week and apply all of this knowledge at the end to make your own investment memo.
What I wish was different
I wish that it was not a Baltimore and I wish the training session each week were more intensive
Advice
I think having some knowledge about SaaS and software beforehand is helpful. This could just be from one's own research.
