Working at JK as an intern gave me the in-office experience that I never had in addition to understanding each policies and functions that the company does. In addition, learning how to connect the dots with every move gave me the ability to have a broader understand how a company runs. I enjoyed working with the team I had and I'm extremely thankful to each and everyone who has helped me throughout my journey at JK Moving Services.
What I wish was different
I don't necessarily have anything that I wished it would be different at the moment.
Advice
The experience working at JK was great and it's a good place to work with all the good people around you. I would recommend working at JK if you would like to start your morning on a good day, everyday.

What I liked
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to intern with JK Moving! I have learned a lot over the summer from my supervisor, the marketing department, and others throughout the company. I really enjoyed being able to showcase my creative abilities through the posts and content that I was creating. I also appreciate how I was given an individual project to work on over the summer that I could later add to my portfolio for the future.
What I wish was different
I wish I had spoken up and asked more questions. I learned a lot about the company and the moving industry over the summer, but I definitely could have asked more questions to my department related to what I am studying to be able to take more away from the internship.
Advice
Use every opportunity to learn! You are not going to know everything as an intern, and they understand that. Take this time to ask questions, get hands-on experience, and learn more about what you will potentially be doing in the future! Always put your best effort into everything you work on because they notice these qualities.

What I liked
The environment of JK was very conducive to success. Everyone I worked with had a positive attitude and worked together to accomplish the companies standards.
What I wish was different
I wish I had asked more questions from the start. I learn a lot during this internship but I could have learned more if I had asked more questions.
Advice
Do not be afraid to ask questions and learn more about how the company is ran. The more you learn the more you will take away from working at JK/CapRelo.

What I liked
Great work environment, other employees are kind, helpful, and treat you like one of their own. There is a great emphasis on prioritizing good relationships within the workplace, which I liked.
What I wish was different
The only thing I would want to be different was if there were more intern events.
Advice
Everything may seem overwhelming at first, but just give it some time and you will find your stride with ease. Stay Organized: there are lots of different software and communication platforms that this company uses, so learning how to use each one and staying organized within your computer is quite helpful.

The work was boring and I did not learn any major skills that will translate to future jobs. I had a lot of free time on my hands as there was not much for me to do on most days.

Advice I would give to somebody is that you shouldn't expect a lot of guidance or anything handed to you. You will get what you take out of the internship.
