At JH Ranch, you can learn more about the Lord and serving others in one summer than anywhere else. It is a greenhouse for growing. If you work here, arrive with an open heart and expectations to learn constantly. Take hold of every opportunity and have courage to live outside of your comfort zone. In everything, be ready to grow! I would not be who I am today without serving here.

Videography Intern

What I liked

I was able to craft my skill throughout my summer by filming, editing, and showing weekly videos ranging from 15-45 minutes. There was always an opportunity to learn and as the summer went on I could see a progression in my ability and comprehension of not only the hardware and software but also how to make better content.

What I wish was different

Nothing. This summer had been perfect.

Advice

Go into the summer expecting to ask lots of questions. Do not go in with hard headed and think you know everything. There is always opportunity to grow.
