Business Continuity and Emergency Response Team Intern

June 2018 • Long Island City, NY

What I liked

I loved being apart of a team that worked directly to help prevent, improve, and act on crisis events. We worked together to help solve problems, help people, and make a difference in what was happening in the world around us.

What I wish was different

I wouldn't change a thing.

Advice

By being able to try out a field I wasn't sure about in real time and with real experiences, I was able to figure out what career path is best suited for me. It really got me excited for my future and what I could be potentially doing once I graduate. Even if you aren't sure about a certain field or a certain position, just try it. You will never truly know what it will be like until you try it for yourself.
