John Ernest Dunn (Ernie) founded the JE Dunn Construction Company in 1924. Since then we have grown into the 11th largest domestic general building contractor in the United States. Headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, we employ over 3,000 employees with forecasted sales of $4.6B. We are a top ten builder in the markets of semi-conductors, healthcare, education, and mission critical. Geared toward construction and engineering students, JE Dunn’s National Diversity Scholarship supports our 3-pillar strategy for diversity and inclusion: workforce, workplace, and marketplace.

The National Diversity Scholarship is a $5,000 scholarship paid over the course of two years. It includes up to two guaranteed internship opportunities and is awarded to 8 students nationally each year. Currently accepting applications until October 15, 2021
