What I liked

This internship allowed me to gain knowledge of construction that I did not previously have. I started this internship with no previous knowledge of commercial construction. I have currently been here six months and have already gained so much. My employers and coworkers have taken the time to teach me as much as possible before I graduate. They are very good at explaining everything thoroughly in order to make sure that I understand.

What I wish was different

I wish that I had started working for this company sooner.

Advice

One piece of advice I would share, is to roll with the punches and take in the experience. This company is willing to teach you anything you want to learn regarding estimating and operations. Do not hesitate to ask the dumb AND the difficult questions. This is a great place to gain experience and knowledge that you will use for the rest of your career.
