What I liked

I loved how, as a UNF student, I was able to take part-time classes at the UNF campus while working with Jax Spine full time! Since my job was so close to campus, I didn't have to compromise on my academic career to get real job experience this summer.

What I wish was different

I wish that I would have been able to do more event management in my job. However, through the UNF Communications Internships page, I have found an internship for Summer 2020 to get this kind of experience at UF Health!

Advice

I would advise all students taking classes and working a full-time job during the summers to do whatever they can to stay organized. For me, that looked like managing both my academic and professional work on a combined Google calendar to stay on schedule!
