I wish I had been more proactive about working directly with producers
A few days it felt like they were just searching for tasks to give me something to do

get to know everybody around the office, not just the "important" people

What I liked
Everyone at Jax is friendly, welcoming, and happy to share their experiences and knowledge with the interns! It's hands on and I got to learn about on-set production as well as get to see writer's room work.
What I wish was different
Wish it was paid! But I know unpaid internships are common in media work (ie not specific to Jax).
Advice
Just be friendly and get to know everyone! The office really varies between quieter days or times where there's multiple writers rooms going on and it's great to know the regular people who can help you out.
