I loved playing with kids. I loved teaching colors & letters & songs & life skills. The girls I kept learned from me & that's an awesome feeling
What I wish was different
I had to potty train one of the kids. It was awesome, but it was hard. I also wish they wouldn't have had a nanny cam. It made me uncomfortable. The mom was always watching. Wish they would just trust me.
Advice
Be patient!!! This job requires a lot of patience & gentleness. Also, use toddler based curriculum to teach them. & if you have to potty train, there are great books out there!
