What I liked

There were a lot of fun activities on and off site every day. that we were able to experience with the kids. Further it was a great way to help children to be inspired, make new connections, build character, abilities, interests and leadership skills of their own

What I wish was different

Advice

If you're looking to enjoy the outdoors and be active, it is a great way to do so. Also to get experience with school aged kids, helps build team working skills, and foster connections with the families in the community and summer camp team and leaders

What I liked

I loved working with the kids and making an impact on both their summer as well as their lives. I enjoyed going on field trips, and making the long site days more fun. I worked with amazing and fun, bubbly people who loved coming to work and always put a smile on my face.

What I wish was different

Advice

As you are working with kids, each day is different. You never know what will happen; especially in middle school. I took each day with a grain of salt, but always made it my goal to talk to each kid and make everyone laugh. You have to be willing to be goofy and laugh at yourself! And most importantly, have fun.
