iSpecimen is a biotech company that focuses on the procurement and distribution of human specimens (blood, tissue, etc.) to researchers and research organizations. I think that biotechnology is the best field to be in for someone who wants to find a career that intersects biology and business.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been exposed to more of the compny’s departments—operations, tech, etc.
Advice
At any internship, show that you are proficient, quick, and effective at whatever you are asked to do. Ask questions. Go above and beyond. You will be noticed.
