I have enjoyed working with several different teams within the IT department. I usually (not always) have had a decent amount of freedom in how to approach my work so long as I meet my objectives and complete documentation assignments in a timely manner.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been another technical writer present to mentor me on the job.
Advice
The internship is full-time. If you are offered an internship extension or a job after the internship, know that you usually can negotiate for something that works around your school schedule. (Be aware that the internship is handled through a third-party staffing agency.)
