It was a great research experience and excellent for career development.
What I wish was different
I wish the company had a bit larger of an intern program so that I could have had a wider network of friends while I was living in California.
Advice
Research is hard, so research internships are not easy. You get out of it what you put into it!

Communication was hard over Zoom.
