What I liked

I really like the flexibility of my internship. It is also really cool to work directly with the CEO of the company that I intern for, as it has allowed me to gain a better perspective on the industry that I want to go into and it has made me feel like a valuable member of the company's team.

What I wish was different

I wish that I had received better training on using the software that I use on a daily basis for my internship. I did receive some instruction, but a lot of it I had to figure out on my own. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as learning how to teach yourself and problem solve is a valuable skill.

Advice

Make sure to ask questions and don't be afraid to reach out to your internship supervisors. They want to help you and see you succeed!

What I liked

It is a really laid-back work environment. Throughout the internship, they adjust and give you more to handle as you learn and grow. You get a lot of experience and challenges while helping out your community.

What I wish was different

This is a remote position for me so I really only got to talk to a few people. Perhaps, talking to more people within the company and learning more about what they do.
