I liked the people I worked with and felt that everyone was very helpful and welcoming. My bosses were truly passionate about their work and it was a good mixture of being educational and experiential.
What I wish was different
I wish the office was a little more modern and that there was more collaboration and interaction with coworkers when working on projects.
Advice
Working for a labor union was extremely helpful because I learned a lot about how to advocate for myself and what my rights as a worker are and what I should expect in my future career endeavors. Even though I'm unsure if this is a field I want to pursue, learning about labor ethics is an amazing opportunity for anyone!
