With your campers, set the expectation you have for them from the minute you meet them. Pair that with set the example of a good person room the moment you meet them. Consistency is SUPER important when living with middle schoolers, because if they see one camper treated differently than them, their intense sense of justice is set off. Always follow the rules, always. You're always on the clock, whether you think you are or not. Even when campers "aren't around" you never know if they're watching/listening. Commit to being a model adult.
