What I liked
Being able to work in an office environment and experience the private, business sector. I also worked 40 hours a week, so I got to experience what a full work week is like. I also got to experience more than one department (Executive Office, Housekeeping, HR, Engineering).
What I wish was different
That I could have done more sustainability-specific things.

What I liked
I loved the staff I worked with. Being able to learn first-hand about such a luxury brand like Intercontinental was amazingly inspiring. I even met our general manager of the hotel multiple times who was nothing but nice and helpful. I would love to work here again.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have known to come here sooner.
Advice
If you're thinking about applying for a position at Intercontinental, do it! The pay is great and everyone that works at the hotel are genuine and always happy to see you, even if you're a "newbie".
