INTECH Construction

About INTECH Construction

Founded in 1986 by partners Craig Sabatino and Will Schwartz, INTECH Construction has been dedicated to building trust and delivering construction excellence to clients for over 36 years.

The company evolved from humble beginnings to construct many prominent regional projects, and continues to make a significant impact on the Philadelphia region. INTECH serves the area’s major academic and cultural institutions, as well as the multifamily residential, healthcare, life sciences, education, hospitality, and institutional markets.

Emphasizing a service-oriented, personal approach to construction since its founding, INTECH’s approach honors the principles of craftsmanship, quality, and integrity. The company’s culture is both professional and collegial, with values deeply rooted in the shared belief that passionate principals, committed professionals, and unparalleled service form the foundation of the company’s success. As a result, a principal leads every project, communication and collaboration are prioritized, and delivering a job well done is the promise to each and every customer.

Growing the company from within has been a long-held goal of the founders’ strategic planning to steward INTECH into the future. Since 2012, INTECH has added five principals to its Executive Management team: Joe Kelly, Blaise Lutz, Dave Maguire, Phil Moses, and Andrew O’Donnell. In 2021, INTECH shifted to its second generation of ownership, with the promotions of Phil Moses to President and Blaise Lutz to Chief Financial Officer. Sabatino remains active in everyday operations as Chairman. Will and Sab’s founding vision and focus on safety, excellence, diversity, community, and sustainability continue to guide INTECH’s philosophy and culture even as the new leadership brings a fresh perspective to guiding the company’s work.

INTECH is proud to have grown to be among Philadelphia’s largest locally owned construction firms. With a strong sense of civic responsibility to the City of Philadelphia and the region, INTECH continues to strive toward playing a key role in bringing good buildings to fruition.

“I loved how inclusive my team made me feel during my coop and part-time experience. I felt like an equal member of the team who was doing valuable work that contributed to the success of our project and the tasks that needed to be done. The environment was welcoming and everyone in the company was willing to teach and open to any questions I had. ”
