I loved taking part in art therapy and music therapy sessions with clients. I enjoyed helping children with ADHD and Autism, and I loved interacting with adult clients with intellectual disabilities and dementia. I gained valuable marketing and research skills, including things like transitioning electronic health records. I also learned a ton about nonprofit work through classes on grant writing and assisting with donation drives.

Advice
Be sure to set meetings with all of the staff and take the time to interview them all. Everyone at ITA has valuable advice for interns and future therapists.
