Often times other staff members have different schedules, so there’s not a lot of collaboration. I have to be very independent and sometimes it would be nice to have more people working together.
Advice
If you’re just starting out as a COTA, work Mon-Fri or as closely to the supervising OTR as you can. Ask questions, get experience, form relationships, then branch out after.
