I loved the work culture and the variety of tasks I was asked to complete. I mainly ran the company's TikTok page, which was working with the same medium, but I had to come up with a variety of topics to focus on each week. I was fortunate to work alongside fellow women of color who pushed me to think creatively and work hard while also taking time for myself.
What I wish was different
I wish it wasn't virtual. I totally understand why working at home is more accessible for most of the population, but working virtually wasn't for me. I also don't think I'm very interested in Marketing to begin with, which was probably why the job felt grueling at times (for me).
Advice
Network! I only got this position because of a family friend. Also, start your day at a consistent time each day so you can ensure productivity.
