I liked the variety of experiences I had working here. I was able to attend events, help with programs, send out mailings and educate the community about Melanoma.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have attended more events in place of sending out mailings in the office. I know that the mailings are important but I really enjoyed going to events and speaking to both children and adults about the dangers of Melanoma.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share is to not be afraid to ask questions. If there is a specific job you are given and you don´t understand it, be sure to clarify with your supervisors because they want to know you care!
