Interns were able to have a really hands-on experience which was much different from previous internships! Everyone was very helpful, and I was able to learn a lot in 3 months.
What I wish was different
Only wish it would have been paid.
Advice
Ask questions! Don't be afraid to because everyone is very ready to help. Also, read up on prison abolition, you're going to engage it a lot during your time at IPP.
