Huron Mountain Club

About Huron Mountain Club

One of the oldest businesses in Marquette County. Founded in the late 1800 as a hunting and fishing camp, the Club now provides a laboratory for ecological research, with access to some of the last tracts of untouched wilderness in the whole midwest. Multiple seasonal positions are available every summer, from grounds maintenance and food services, to skilled carpentry and heavy equipment maintenance, construction and general laborers welcome.

“Working at the Huron Mountain Club offers access to one of the largest privately owned tracts of land in the country. This is some of the most pristine, breathtaking wilderness which includes an array of all types of ecosystems from mountains to lakes and streams, with a portion located on Lake Superior. Hiking, swimming, rock climbing, boating, and fishing are just a few of the activities you can enjoy while working here.”
