Summer Intern

What I liked

It was an internship through LeadingAge, a large nonprofit member organization that focuses on aging. They had a very structured program with mentorship and check-ins, thus I was able to have guidance at my location. The company, HumanGood, had very encouraging and welcoming staff.

What I wish was different

I wish I was able to explore other departments; I was placed into social services, but I wish I was able to intern under development, Human Resources, etc.

Be specific in your search for an internship when you are on larger sites like Indeed.
