This position and agency is incredibly immersive and comprehensive. The internships and jobs that I’ve had as an undergraduate at Binghamton University prepares me and allowed to excel in the public health sector. The position includes a large array of responsibilities and duties that range from phlebotomy to Outreach.
What I wish was different
I could not wish for anything to have been different.
Advice
If I could offer one piece of advice is that this position has taught me that it’s not necessarily about having a marketing degree, but more about how to market yourself. My undergraduate degree was completely unrelated to my current position but I was able to utilize the skills that I acquired from a comprehensive liberal arts education to break through into a new career path.
