The atmosphere was welcoming. The people I worked with were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed working with kids and completing administrative tasks. I also loved getting to meet company members and choreographers in Hubbard Street Dance Company.
What I wish was different
More integration between departments.

Always give 110% to everything you do, be nice to everyone you meet, and take advantage of every opportunity you are given.

What I liked
It was quite a small company so I got to know each of the members in the department personally. The company was also very organized. I liked being invited to each of the meetings to observe.
What I wish was different
I wish I was paid for my work. At times I was doing administrative things like filing and data entry.
Advice
Don't be afraid to speak up in the meetings and truly act a part of the team. If you see that there is an opportunity for you to step up and offer a solution try it. Don't be afraid of your superiors.
