I enjoyed being able to apply my knowledge from the classroom to the projects I was able to work on. I am glad I was able to learn more about consulting and the design process. HEI provides great supervisors that help guide you and are easy to talk to.
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish had been different was having a more structured internship program. It would have been nice to have more intern-centered events to help us gain more confidence in our professional skills and learn more about the company.
Advice
I would make an effort to get to know your fellow interns or coworkers. Having friends you can talk to at work really helps you enjoy the experience more.

More in the field work and site visits.
Advice
Don't be afraid to keep asking for work if you run out. Also, definitely ask questions if you are confused about what you're supposed to be doing.
