We are Missoula County's historical museum! We are a 32 acre historical museum on the site of Fort Missoula. The historical museum at Fort Missoula tells the stories of western Montana, including Fort history, forestry, homesteading, the 25th infantry bike soldiers, the WWII Alien Detention Center and more. We care for over 40,000 artifacts, provide guided tours to more than 5,000 people each year, and provide several family friend events to the community.
