What I wish was different
I don't wish anything would have been different. They took me in, showed me the ropes, and then let me create and lead activities.

What I liked
I really enjoyed getting an insight into the field that I am going in to. I loved getting to interact with the residents and their families.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been more people to work, we were constantly understaffed. There were days that I had too many residents just to myself, we were always a little behind. I also had many days that I didn't have time to take a lunch break.
Advice
Be understanding and compassionate with the residents. A lot of them were completely independent before they had an accident and they aren't used to needing so much help.
