Everyone is very welcoming. The plant manager makes an effort to come to and participate in my meetings. In addition to speaking with me on occasion
What I wish was different
I wish I had been kept a little more busy as overtime is normal there. Additionally I wish I had gotten to see my work implemented.

Great people, personal office, great manager
What I wish was different
Commute was really kind of rough, an ancillary office downtown would be nice, and useful. I also wish that I was given more varied work than just basic excel grunt work.
Advice
Make a strong effort to put yourself into teams where you normally wouldn't fit, otherwise you will never fit in. Do your best to go to lunch with everyone to build networks/relationships with coworkers.
