I loved being able to visit with multiple clients in numerous types of business and seeing their industry specific needs. Also, acitively engaging and learning in the company's operating system was exciting because they had just launched it.
What I wish was different
I wish that the job description would have been more clear about the amount of cold calling that the job requires, as well as a more specific final project other than just gaining new clients through cold calling efforts.
Advice
Have a good attitude about cold calling, it is hard and often discouraging, but use it as an opportunity to grow your selling/speaking ability as well as mental fortitude.
