I loved that the Heritage internship allows you to learn about what each department does. You also get to hear from the policy experts that work there in weekly lectures. There is also a Job Bank that interns can utilize.
What I wish was different
Nothing. It has been my favorite internship in DC so far.
Advice
Go to as many events as you can. It is a great "outside the classroom" learning expereince.
