The company has amazing values for its people including: safety, positive mental health, and collaboration. My mentor was very understanding and taught me so much. The internship also had a very good structure.
What I wish was different
I wish the internship was the job I wanted, I enjoyed the company but it wasnt the job for me.
Advice
Make the most out of it and get to know everyone! Each person made my internship such a valuable experience, I would go back just for the people alone.

What I liked
I found the company to have a good work-life balance. The work was also always changing, making the day to day tasks not boring.
What I wish was different
Honestly, for the most part I would not change much. If there were more interns, it might have helped to make friends or learn from each others internships. Overall though, it was a really amazing experience.
Advice
Be open to talk to others in the company about any questions you have. Work people are also good to hang out with outside of work, a lot of them do fun things on the weekend.

What I liked
I was challenged, entering a complicated field in which I had very little experience. I gained so much incredible and valuable experience, in addition to adding to my professional network. The company had a very organized structure in which co-ops could thrive.
What I wish was different

Advice
Don't be afraid to leave the Ohio area for a job, it is very fulfilling and you gain both professional and personal experience.

What I liked
The majority of the summer I spent on site working on real company work. You won't get the classic, "I was so bored all summer," when you choose a fast paced company such as Helix.
What I wish was different
Traffic and the commute.
Advice
Always ask every question you can think of, and then think of ten more!
