The team at Hedayah was extremely helpful and supporting. I was given multiple responsibilities which I believe had tangible outcomes in the organization.
What I wish was different
The premises were not the best, as the interns had to use a room outside of the main work area.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask for help: at the beginning of my internship I was a bit lost but I was fortunate enough to have a team that was willing to go the extra mile for me. Be open to possibilities, open as many doors as you can and then go with the one that you believe will make you happier and will get you out of your comfort zone.
