I liked the projects I was able to work on and the experience I got overall in a small start up design studio. I met great contacts and was asked to continue working on a freelance basis like my last internship.
What I wish was different
Not necessarily better but the size of the company was very small and I would like to go somewhere totally different in scale to get a feel for that as well.
Advice
I think an internship is always a good idea and no matter what happens you have some great takeaways even if it's the realization you don't want to work there or in a place like it. For me I like the people and the work and I can see that my skills and sharpness increased because they were on demand and put to the test. I like that pressure and I love learning through doing.
