I liked working with students. I hear about students' plans and help them prepare for their future career. The best part is when you have been working with a student and then hear about their success.
Everyone in the career team is very welcoming and willing to teach me how to do new things providing an opportunity to grow.
What I wish was different
I wish we did more events and I spent more time working with students.
Advice
While it might not be very intensive work, it teaches how to be flexible which is an important skill for any career. Don't try to differentiate between what's "your job" and what isn't. You are member of the team and you help out in any way you can. This kind of approach is valued here.
