I enjoyed working with youth to ensure that they had a memorable summer. I made many connections and often times was viewed as a big sister figure.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had the opportunity to work with other age groups throughout the summer. I worked with graders 6th-10th throughout the entire summer.
Advice
It is important to step out of your comfort zone, especially when working with youth. Nothing else matters besides the campers having an outstanding time.
