I was able to do a lot of hands on work and was treated like a full part of the team. From pitching, to writing releases, to planning events, you get experience in all parts of PR.

Advice
The more you ask to help with, the more responsibility you will be given so take advantage of the experience. It is a great chance to build your portfolio.

IT Intern

What I liked
I really enjoyed having the opportunity to work with different departments and work on different tasks and projects during this internship. Working closely with many people also created tons of networking opportunities. I also learned lots of bits and pieces of the different disciplines within the IT office which was a plus. Overall, I had an awesome experience working at Hard Rock over the summer.
What I wish was different
I do wish I was able to work more with the IT infrastructure side of the department. I feel like I would have gained more wholesome and broader knowledge that I could carry over to my career.
Advice
I would tell somebody receiving this position to be eager to learn. There is plenty of knowledge to be learned through this internship.
