I liked being able to experience all of the layers that go into a pr Jct site development. Speaking to the architects, construction workers, city advocates, politicians, residents/clients, as well as other development agencies. It is great to be apart of an organization that provides affordable housing opportunities to our communities most vulnerable and underserved populations.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have had more knowelegde about real estate development deals as well as the construction of affordable housing, going in so that I had a better idea of what I wanted to learn/focus on.
Advice
Be an avid learner and soak up as much information as possible. Make the best of your experience! Especially as someone who may be inexperienced.
