I loved getting to watch surgeries! I watched a foot amputation and various other procedures in vascular surgery and surgical oncology.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had been paid. I also wish that I had a single supervisor that I could report to rather than several so that I could have more direction in my daily activities.
Advice
I would suggest that all participants in this program apply for the LMU summer funding through CPD. As this program was unpaid, getting a grant from LMU helped a lot with living expenses!
