“Working with a small business is a great learning experience. It gives the opportunity to see the big picture of a business in a much easier way, with it being on a smaller scale. I've learned so much about the business world from my boss, and there is a lot of exposure to different scenarios in a small business. It's completely different than going to work everyday doing the same exact thing. With a small business you learn a variety of tasks, through different critical thinking, and understanding the processes involved with the specific business. Accounting itself is such a learning experience too. Organizing data, critical general ledger thinking, and observing the financial situations and decisions within a business. ”
