It helped me appreciate my education and those who work more undesirable jobs.
What I wish was different
I was new to the job and working with people who were experienced. Because I was expected to clean a room (change sheets, dust, vacuum, replenish/clean bathroom) in less than 30 minutes, I was considered slow when it took me 45. The other employees shamed me for taking the time to fulfill all the steps I learned in training, claiming not all the steps were necessary for each room. I never took a break in order to compensate for "cleaning lesser rooms" than the other employees.
