What I liked

I gained invaluable legal experience through drafting various documents for the courts as well as communicating with the clients, paralegals, and attorneys on case requirements. The environment at Schneider Hammers is a supportive one which really helped me thrive professionally and academically while finishing my bachelor's degree in political science. Over the course of my two-year internship, I have had the opportunity to hear first-hand experience from the attorneys, as well as the paralegals, on what to expect in a legal career as well as tips on what to expect in law school.

What I liked

My direct supervisors were so helpful in helping me become accustomed to the field of personal injury law. Working so closely with real cases and real people helped me decide what path I wanted to go down in my future.

Working for Schneider Hammers was a great experience. They allowed a flexible schedule to coincide with my school schedule. Everyone in the office is very nice and they will help you with any questions you have.

What I liked

This past summer working with Schneider Hammers has been so great. With Covid, I wasn't expecting to have an internship this summer, but the office took great safety precautions which allowed for me to work and gain background knowledge in the legal field. The lawyers and paralegals at Schneider Hammers are all really friendly and willing to help.

What I wish was different

Advice

I was always busy! Which isn't a bad thing, time flew by quickly at work as I always had a task on hand.
