Hale Reservation

About Hale Reservation

The mission of Hale is to offer educational and recreational opportunities that develop self-confidence, inspire a passion for learning, and encourage an appreciation for the natural environment.

Hale Reservation, in conjunction with seven other agencies, provides over 4,400 children from 70 communities with a summer outdoor camp experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Hale supports its agency camps by providing facilities and trained staff leadership.

On any given day there are 2,000 children enjoying Hale’s 1,137 acres; miles and miles of trails and beautiful ponds. And when campers aren’t swimming, boating and hiking, they are likely enjoying our ropes course, environmental programs or our Floating Classroom.

Over half the children who come to Hale receive some sort of financial aid. Hale raises over $150,000 per year to ensure that under-served campers are able to attend camp.
