I loved working with professors and other students to help gather information for research studies on organic molecules. It was challenging at times but definitely taught me a lot about how working in a lab can be. This really helped me with making decisions on whether I wanted to go into pharmaceuticals or medical practice.

Ask questions - a lot of questions - because doing research is one of the best ways to learn more applicable information and I know there were definitely many times where it was beneficial to ask questions versus not and risk messing something up.
