What I liked

I have been able to use what I am learning in the classroom as a Graduate student in the High Altitude Exercise Physiology Master's Program while also learning much more through on the job experience.

What I wish was different

For a span of a few months, we had to cancel our outpatient due to COVID for the safety of our patients. It was unfortunate taking that time off from being able to help the patients, however that time was well spent conducting research that would not have been possible otherwise.

Advice

Ask as many questions as you can. Everyday is an opportunity to learn something new.

What I liked

The entry program was very helpful, we were paid to take the course and the test was paid for, the residents were sweet and most of the nurses were looking out for you and helping when needed.

What I wish was different

I wish there had been more understanding between the different levels of work and that everyone did what was required of them.

Advice

Learning to be friends with your coworkers is vital for a good experience.
